"I'm An Ogadeni Child" by Hodan M. Ugas.

I’m the voice of the voiceless
I’m the dream of the sleepless
I’m the tear that never dries
I’m an Ogadeni child

I’m the sister of the one that got hanged
I’m the brother of the one that got raped
I’m the daughter of the one that got burned
I’m an Ogadeni child

I’m the one that buried my child
I’m the one that watched my father cry
I’m the slave in the 21st century
I’m an Ogadeni child

I’m the one with the tortured soul
I’m the one with the tired mind
I’m the one with the blistered feet
I’m an Ogadeni child

I’m the one that refused to stop
I’m the one that marches and fights
I’m the voice of the voiceless
I’m an Ogadeni child
